令和5年11月20日(月) 松前町にある3つの小学校の松前町ふるさと学習の一環として、伊能忠敬像学習会が実施されました。
松城小学校19名、小島小学校7名、大島小学校4名あわせて30名もの6年生が吉岡総合センターなごめ~るに来てくれました。
講師は福島町教育委員会学芸員の鈴木さん、伊能忠敬研究会理事で福島町史研究会会長の中塚さんの2名。
中塚会長はかつらとみので伊能忠敬に扮して講演を行いました。
On Monday, November 20, 2023, a study session on the statue of Ino Tadataka was held as part of the Matsumae Hometown Study program at three elementary schools in Matsumae Town.
A total of 30 sixth graders (19 from Matsushiro Elementary School, 7 from Kojima Elementary School, and 4 from Ooshima Elementary School) came to Yoshioka Sogo Center Nagome-ru.
The two lecturers were Ms. Suzuki, curator of the Fukushima Town Board of Education, and Mr. Nakatsuka, director of the Ino Tadataka Study Group and chairman of the Fukushima Town History Study Group.
Chairman Nakatsuka gave a lecture dressed as Ino Tadataka in a wig and straw raincoat.

伊能忠敬が北海道の測量を開始するにあたり、最初に上陸したのが福島町の吉岡川。
まだまだ知られていませんが、幕府が認めた日本地図測量の起点はここ福島町吉岡です。
いわば日本地図づくりの旅の出発点と言えますね。

When Tadataka Ino started surveying Hokkaido, he first landed on the Yoshioka River in Fukushima Town.
Although it is still not well known, the starting point for the survey of Japanese maps approved by the Shogunate is here, in Yoshioka, Fukushima-cho.
It is, so to speak, the starting point of the journey to create a map of Japan.
